Tibetan New Year

Tibetan New Year (Losar) • Losar Date: 1st - 3rd of the first lunar month (Tibetan Calendar) • Losar Festival Date 2013 (Tibetan New Year 2013 Date): Feb 11, 2013 on solar calendar • Losar is considered to be the most significant festival of the Buddhist community in Tibet. The festival marks the Tibetan New Year and is celebrated with great splendour and grandeur.
